   A horoscope is arrived at through demonic means. If you need to know something, just ask the Holy Spirit and He will guide you. Good luck.

   A personal sin no. It is a form of divination that only points to possibilities. Free will and foreknowledge can avert any or most negative things that may be in a horoscope.
   Do not put any faith in those that are in the paper or tabloids as they are only generalizations.Not for a individual.
   I find the sidereal ones to be more accurate than the solar ones.

   I think it is a sin to believe in horoscopes.

   The planets and other celestial bodies are not the things that control our future. God controls our future. So, looking to anything else for advice would be like worshipping or paying tribute to a false idol, which the Bible clearly condemns.

   We should seek God and God alone for counsel, because that is what He wants.

   I recall the story in the Bible when the world is ending, one runs to Jesus and says , save me, save me, Jesus replied Go ask your astrologer to save you.

   Hi Mariah
   I can’t find a particular verse right now, but why try to get an answer from the stars, when you can ask the God who made those stars?
   Yes, I do think astrology is a sin.

   Astrology is based on the zodiac. Chinese astrology gives prediction on people’s life according to the day he was born in position with the animal year, and his birthday, even to his hour of birth. There must be some truth to it, because otherwise the devil is not going to use it to trap people.
   But of course out of millions of people born on the same day and hour, they could not be having the same experience exactly. There are only a few who really experienced it. Most of them just missed it. So when the predicted things happened, people always remember it, but when it did not happen, they forget it.
   God tell us in the Bible not to seek or trusts those kind of people who teach us to trust the stars, but rather to trust the Maker of the stars who can change everything completely according to His will.

   The following text shows God’s anger against astrologers:

   13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels;
   Let now the astrologers, the stargazers,
   And the monthly prognosticators
   Stand up and save you
   From what shall come upon you.
   14 Behold, they shall be as stubble,
   The fire shall burn them;
   They shall not deliver themselves
   From the power of the flame;
   It shall not be a coal to be warmed by,
   Nor a fire to sit before!

    Even the Bible does not call it a sin.. it does state that being wrapped up in this practice keeps one away from those things spiritual. This same principle would apply to anything which directs you away from trying to live a spiritual life and learn and understand those things higher than ourselves.
